Celebrating 10 Years of Creativity at the Games Showcase

The 2026 Games Showcase marked a major milestone as we celebrated the 10th anniversary of one of the highlights of our annual Tech Fest. What began as a small student exhibition has grown into a vibrant event that brings together students, industry professionals, alumni, and the wider community to celebrate innovation, creativity, and game development.

The very first Games Showcase, held in 2017, welcomed around 100 attendees. Ten years later, the event has grown beyond anything we could have imagined. This year's showcase attracted 506 registrations, featured 117 student presenters, and showcased 30 game development projects, making it our biggest and most successful event to date.

The Games Showcase gives students the opportunity to present their work to the public, receive valuable feedback from industry professionals, and celebrate the culmination of months and often years of hard work. The diversity and quality of projects on display reflected the exceptional talent and dedication of our students across game design, programming, art, animation, audio, and production.

This special anniversary edition was made possible through the generous support of our industry partners. We would like to sincerely thank Riot Games and MSI for sponsoring this year's event. Their commitment to supporting the next generation of game developers helped make the 10th anniversary celebration an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

Beyond the impressive numbers, the Games Showcase continues to demonstrate the strength of our games development community. It has become more than an exhibition. It is a place where students connect with industry, build professional networks, gain confidence in presenting their work, and celebrate the creativity that defines game development.

As we reflect on the past decade, we are incredibly proud of how far the Games Showcase has come. From an event with 100 attendees to one attracting more than 500 registrations, its growth reflects the continued success of our students, graduates, staff, and industry partners.

Thank you to everyone who attended, exhibited, volunteered, and supported this year's event. We look forward to continuing this tradition and celebrating many more years of inspiring creativity, innovation, and the future of games.
