How Long To Beat High On Life 2

Sat, 02/14/2026 - 01:20

If you're a fan of wacky--and frequently vulgar--comedy games, you'll probably be interested in seeing what High on Life 2 has to offer. This raunchy, action-packed sequel packs in even more fart jokes, F-bombs, and grotesque creatures than the first outing, ensuring that you're always either laughing or holding back your lunch--or both at the same time. But if you're curious about diving in guns blazing for a second romp through this universe, you may want to know how long it'll take you to see it through. So, here's how long it takes to beat High on Life 2.

How long is High on Life 2?

High on Life 2 is faster-paced than the original, but it also provides larger, more open zones to explore and some surprisingly thoughtful puzzles you'll need to complete on your journey toward its conclusion. It's rarely overwhelmingly difficult, though, so if your goal is just to reach the end of the game and see the credits roll, then an average playthrough should take 10-12 hours. Still, for those who want more, there's a lot of optional stuff to see and do as you explore each area.

If you do decide to take on the additional content scattered throughout the world of High on Life 2, you can extend your total playtime by a few hours. Heading out to explore each of the game's main hubs during your downtime between missions can yield extra money (pesos) and useful upgrades. And if you're a true completionist looking to fill out the full trophy or achievement list, you'll find things like skateboard races, retro games to discover, and additional one-off tasks to complete on your quest to see absolutely everything in the game.

Reanimal Secret Bunker Guide - How To Find And Input The Secret Code

Sat, 02/14/2026 - 01:00

Reanimal may seem to be all about the jump scares and creepy imagery--and it largely is--but it also features a handful of fun secrets that can earn you in-game collectibles, as well as get you closer to obtaining 100% completion. In the case of the "Secret Bunker" trophy or achievement, you'll need to round up a secret code and input it into a machine somewhere on your adventure. But since the secret code is potentially the most easily overlooked thing in the entire game, we'll fill you in on where to find it, as well as where you'll need to enter it to complete this little side objective.

Where to find the secret code in Reanimal

You can find Reanimal's secret code in Chapter 1: Dead in the Water. However, note that the secret code is the same in every game, so if you've already passed this chapter and just want the answer, go ahead and skip to the next section for the location and solution.

When you arrive at the handcar for the first time, you'll need to find and attach some wheels before it can be used. Before doing any of that, enter the bottom right door in this area.

Reanimal Secret Ending Guide - All Coffin Locations

Sat, 02/14/2026 - 01:00

Reanimal may be a relatively brief game, but it houses a lot of secrets within its eerie world, ranging from bizarre masks to posters you can rip down to earn gallery art. However, perhaps its most compelling collectible of all is its five coffins that are expertly hidden throughout the game. Finding and interacting with them all will trigger everything you need to see Reanimal's secret ending, providing a little more insight into the game's creepy lore. In this guide, we'll tell you where to find each coffin so that you, too, can reach the secret ending in Reanimal.

How Long To Beat Reanimal

Sat, 02/14/2026 - 01:00

Reanimal is a spiritual successor to developer Tarsier Studios' acclaimed horror franchise Little Nightmares, taking that series' disturbing imagery and sinister creature design to even darker levels than ever before. Playable solo or co-op (via split-screen or online), this nightmarish entry in the team's catalog doesn't hold back on the tension one bit, making it a potentially worthy grab for horror enthusiasts. Still, you may want to know what to expect from the game's length before diving in. If you're curious about how long it'll take to beat Reanimal, we've got everything you need to know below.

How long to beat Reanimal

Reanimal is a relatively brief experience that should take the average player around 5 or 6 hours to complete. Most chapters are linear with a clear path forward, and the puzzles that stand between you and the next room tend to be less brain teasers and more progression blockers designed to make you work together with your co-op partner (or AI companion if you're solo). The game's more challenging aspects include some occasional trial-and-error stealth and chase sequences--but they aren't anything too severe, either.

However, those looking to get the most out of Reanimal will find a lot of collectibles in nooks and crannies around its dark and unsettling environments, including posters, secret statues, and equippable masks. There are even extremely well-hidden coffins in secret places throughout the adventure, which will unlock a secret ending once they're all found. Taking the time to thoroughly search every section of the game can add a few more hours to your total playtime, maybe even pushing things past 10 hours if you get particularly stuck on the hunt for a particular collectible.

Silent Hill has made a big comeback in recent years, and the current Renaissance of psychological horror isn't over yet. Nevertheless, if you're feeling brave, you can preorder the $50 physical edition for PS5 through Amazon and Best Buy.

Silent Hill: Townfall $50 | Releases in 2026

Preorder bonuses for Silent Hill: Townfall have not yet been revealed, but a few details on the game have emerged. Set in 1996, players will step into the boots of the game's protagonist, Simon Ordell, and explore the foggy Scottish seaside town of St. Amelia. Haunted by strange monsters, Ordell will have to decide when to fight and when to run, and to aid him, he has a handheld TV that helps him when he uses stealth. Enemies appear on the small screen as blobs of static, and Ordell can use it to uncover the mystery of St. Amelia.

Developed by Scottish studio team Screen Burn and published by Annapurna Interactive, the game is also played from a first-person perspective. This is a big departure from previous Silent Hill games, which were all third-person psychological horror games.

PUBG Studio Clarifies How Big New Game Project Windless Uses AI

Sat, 02/14/2026 - 00:24

Project Windless, a new open-world action RPG inspired by a Korean novel series, was announced for PS5 at the recent State of Play event. The game's developers used AI to help create the project, but AI-based elements are not a "central, player-facing feature," the developers clarified.

Speaking to Eurogamer, Krafton said AI was used "during exploratory phases" for the game to help drive efficiency.

"Krafton's studios operate with a high degree of creative independence, enabling each team to select the tools and methods that best suit their projects," a Krafton spokesperson said.

Geoff Keighley Isn't To Blame For Highguard's Struggles, Says Baldur's Gate 3 Boss

Fri, 02/13/2026 - 23:12

Just two months ago at The Game Awards, host Geoff Keighley gave a show-closing preview to the raid shooter Highguard. But after struggling out of the gate, Highguard developer Wildlight was hit by massive layoffs, and some are pointing the finger at Keighley for creating high expectations that the dev team couldn't live up to. However, at least one prominent figure in the industry doesn't believe Keighley should shoulder the blame for any of this mess.

"The Highguard layoffs, like many others, are a sad reminder of the economic instability of an industry that asks the world, but promises little," wrote Baldur's Gate 3 director of publishing, Michael Douse on X. "That said, blaming one man for showing a trailer on his telly show is a sophomoric take that shows little understanding of industry!"

"If anything, [Keighley] gave Highguard the best chance it could have," added Critical Hits founder Eric Arraché. "The problem was that the game wasn't that good (map too big for 3v3) and I believe it had some server problems on PC on day one. Aside from that, companies seem to be pulling out much faster since the Concord fiasco."

Pokemon Go Dev Removes Pokestop From Epstein's Island

Fri, 02/13/2026 - 20:05

Until recently, Little Saint James--the private island formerly owned by convicted sex criminal and alleged human trafficker Jeffrey Epstein--had a Pokemon Go Pokestop. But following an outcry among players, the Epstein Island Pokestop has been removed by Pokemon Go owner Scopely.

According to Polygon, it's unclear when the Pokestop was added to the island, although Ingress estimates that it was somewhere between 2020 and 2021. Epstein died in prison in 2019, and the island isn't easily accessible to the general public. That hasn't stopped players from fooling the game and letting Pokemon Go virtually place them on the island.

Per Kotaku, the number of virtual Pokemon Go visits to Little Saint James dramatically increased this month as a way to draw attention to the Pokestop that was originally noticed well over a year ago. The release of a new round of Epstein files appears to have spurred that surge, until Scopely quietly removed the Pokestop earlier this week.

Highguard Dev Reflects On The Layoffs After Surviving The Cuts

Fri, 02/13/2026 - 20:03

Highguard hasn't even been out a month yet, but the raid shooter has had an epic fall since that time. Earlier this week, a number of developers behind the game were hit by layoffs as the game's developer Wildlight left only a few with their jobs. Now, one of the remaining developers at Wildlight has shared his thoughts on what happened.

Jason McCord--the creative director of Highguard--confirmed on social media that he is still a part of the company. But he added that "yesterday was a kick to the head like nothing you can imagine. I am not affected by the layoffs, besides emotional damage."

McCord went on to offer contacts "for some amazing devs" if any other teams want to hire Wildlight's former employees.

New Legacy Of Kain Game Revealed, And It’s Out Next Month

Fri, 02/13/2026 - 10:18

It might have taken 22 years, but at long last, a brand-new Legacy of Kain game has been announced. Developed by BitBot Media, Legacy of Kain: Ascendance is a pixel-art platformer with plenty of action at its core, and it'll launch for PC and console on March 31.

Set before and during the events of Soul Reaver, Ascendance explores an era of the Legacy of Kain games that has only been briefly referenced--and before time-travel shenanigans started to make things a little confusing. Kain is in the middle of his campaign to conquer Nosgoth, while Raziel appears as a human Seraphan who fights back against the vampire clans.

A third character--Elaleth from the recent Legacy of Kain: Dead Shall Rise comic book mini-series--is also playable, and she's described as a fast-paced brawler who is adept at both combat and platforming. Crystal Dynamics and BitBot estimate that it will take roughly four hours to complete this retro-inspired platformer.

New Castlevania Game Is Coming From The Dead Cells And Rogue Prince Of Persia Devs

Fri, 02/13/2026 - 10:16

Announced with a reveal trailer during the February 2026 State of Play, Castlevania: Belmont's Curse is a new 2D action platformer coming from Konami alongside Motion Twin and Evil Empire--those last two being the studios behind Dead Cells and The Rogue Prince of Persia, respectively.

The reveal trailer for Belmont's Curse says the game is coming this year in 2026, but no specifics beyond that. Oddly enough, while both Dead Cells and The Rogue Prince of Persia are roguelite games (good ones, too!), it doesn't seem like Belmont's Curse is. Neither the reveal trailer nor the PlayStation Blog written by Konami promotion planner Moeko Nagaoka states the game is a roguelite. The game could still be one, but it's looking like it might just be an action platformer.

According to Nagaoka, Belmont's Curse is set in Paris in 1499. The game sees you play as the successor to Trevor Belmont (who you can see in the trailer!), who brings both the family whip and a sword into battle. Nagaoka also notes that there "will be more weapons and abilities for you to master."

Fri, 02/13/2026 - 10:15

Sony Reveals New God Of War Sidescroller, And It's Out Right Now

Fri, 02/13/2026 - 10:12

During Sony's State of Play presentation, God of War: Sons of Sparta was officially announced. The new title is the first 2D action platformer in the long-running God of War franchise. The story explores Kratos' early years during his brutal training in the Agoge. Players will follow a young Kratos as he trains alongside his brother Deimos, learning the harsh lessons that shape his future--and it's available to play now.

The game's story comes from the team at Santa Monica Studio, known for God of War (2018) and God of War Ragnarok. Original Kratos voice actor TC Carson returns to voice the adult Kratos for the first time in over a decade, serving as the game's narrator. Check out the trailer below.

Developed by Mega Cat Studios, the trailer looks like the game will bring the series' fast and powerful combat into a new 2D style. Kratos fights using his spear and shield and can wield divine relics called the Gifts of Olympus. The game also features hand-drawn pixel animation, classic enemies reimagined in 2D, and new creatures inspired by Greek mythology.

Silent Hill: Townfall Shifts First-Person Survival Horror To New Town

Fri, 02/13/2026 - 10:11

Silent Hill producer Motoi Okamoto recently teased more games set outside of the infamous small town. As confirmed during Sony's State of Play, the next game in the franchise is following Silent Hill f's example by leaving Silent Hill behind. However, Silent Hill: Townfall is adding its own spin and sending the franchise into first-person survival horror.

Silent Hill: Townfall was previously announced in 2022 and is being developed by a studio called Screen Burn. The new protagonist's name is Simon Ordell, and he's found himself in the seaside town of St. Amelia. Although the place seems to be eerily deserted, Simon won't be by himself for long. As with other Silent Hill games, Simon's personal demons are given physical form here, and he'll have to defeat them to survive.

The biggest shift for this title is the first-person gameplay, as well as the handheld portable TV that Simon uses to detect the monsters in St. Amelia. It's an updated version of the radio that previous Silent Hill games have used for the same function. It's not quite as functional as Solid Snake's Codec Radar in the Metal Gear Solid games, but the TV can be used to help Simon hide from the monsters instead of facing them head on.

God Of War Trilogy Remake Announced, Brings Back Original Voice Actor

Fri, 02/13/2026 - 10:10

A remake of the original God of War trilogy is in the works, but it's still early days. In any event, Sony Santa Monica announced a trilogy remake, with original Kratos voice actor T.C. Carson making the announcement.

This is a remake of the original Greek trilogy of God of War games. Carson said it will "be a minute" before Sony comes back to share another update, so fans shouldn't expect to play it soon. "Next time we come back, we're coming with something big, baby," Carson said.

In a blog post, Sony said the trilogy remake is "very early in development." And as such, the studio said, "We ask for your patience as it will be a while before anything else can be shared."

Beast Of Reincarnation Creator Says "Every Single Thing" About Making It "Has Been A Challenge"

Fri, 02/13/2026 - 10:00

Since its reveal at last summer's Xbox Games Showcase, Game Freak's newest venture, Beast of Reincarnation, has sparked both excitement and curiosity in equal measure. For the past few decades, Game Freak has firmly established its identity as the studio behind the Pokemon series; as such, the realistic-looking action-RPG marks a notable shift from the cartoonish creature-collection series.

In Beast of Reincarnation, players take on the role of Emma, a Purifier tasked with putting a stop to an ever-encroaching and life-threatening blight. Though this is no small task, she's not alone; alongside Emma is her wolf-life companion, Koo, who aids her on her journey through an overgrown, post-apocalyptic Japan. In the game's latest trailer, we saw a bit more about what exploration and combat will look like, and while you'll still be issuing commands to a furry friend, the action-packed RPG is a far cry from what we've come to expect from Game Freak.

So, why the dramatic departure from the studio's tried-and-true visual stylings and formula? That's just one of the questions GameSpot got the chance to ask Beast of Reincarnation's director, Kota Furushima. Ahead of the game's August 4 release date, we spoke with Furushima about the challenges he's experienced during production, what the game's core message is, and why--despite the company's long-standing relationship with Nintendo--Beast of Reincarnation is still not confirmed for Switch.

Legacy Of Kain Is Back With Two New Games

Fri, 02/13/2026 - 10:00

Kain is deified. The fans tell tales of him, few know the truth…

…because the last mainline entry in the series was released a depressing 22 years ago and, since then, the franchise has faded into obscurity. Although it reappeared as an ill-conceived multiplayer game called Nosgoth, it was quickly shoved back into Crystal Dynamics' IP catacombs. Fans, meanwhile, were left to sustain themselves on raw burning passion for the world of Nosgoth and little else.

Legacy of Kain has one of the most talented self-sustaining communities I've ever encountered and, as a long-suffering fan, I have been the beneficiary of their passion. If you know where to look, you can find them creating fan art, preserving and restoring cut content, writing fanfic, building out encyclopedias, making texture updates, and producing lore videos. And you can tell just how long they've been at it because most of the websites housing that, to my delight, look like they're trapped in the '90s.
