All Four Discontinued Donkey Kong Lego Sets Restocked At Amazon
Amazon has all five in stock ahead of Donkey Kong Bananza.
Collect all DK Lego SetsWith Donkey Kong Bananza shaping up to be the biggest and most ambitious game in franchise history, there's bound to be increased interest in official merch in the coming weeks. Over the past few years, some of the coolest Nintendo collectibles have been produced by Lego. The building set manufacturer created four Donkey Kong-themed sets back in 2023 for its Lego Super Mario line. Earlier this year, Donkey Kong and his DK Jumbo ride became the fifth as part of the Lego Mario Kart launch lineup. Unfortunately, the original four sets were discontinued by Lego late last year. Here's the good news, though: Amazon sometimes carries and restocks retired Lego sets months after every other retailer removes them from shelves. Fortunately, that has happened with Donkey Kong Lego sets, including the hard-to-find Donkey Kong Tree House.
Donkey Kong's Tree House (555 pieces)All five Donkey Kong Lego sets, including the four that are discontinued and sold out at other retailers, are currently in stock at Amazon. The most notable restock is Lego Donkey Kong's Tree House, which had been sold out for months--we presumed it was never coming back. And considering that it's the "main" Donkey Kong Lego set, it's bound to be the most popular of the bunch when Bananza players start searching for DK Lego sets. Two of the four retired sets are discounted, with Dixie Kong's Jungle Jam listed for 30% off and Diddy Kong's Mine Cart Ride for 20% off. Rambi the Rhino isn't on sale, but it only costs $11.
You can check the list of all five Donkey Kong Lego sets below. We've also included a link to a custom Amazon hub where you'll find the Lego Super Mario, Luigi, and Peach Starter Sets for up to $10 off. Those interactive figures are compatible with all of the DK Lego sets. And if you want to pair the discounted Donkey Kong DK Jumbo set with other racers, you can get deals on several of his competitors at Amazon, too.

Nintendo has rolled out a new system update for the Switch 2. This brings the firmware up to ver. 20.1.5, but as is often the case, Nintendo is characteristically vague about what the update has changed.
According to the official patch notes, the new firmware update makes "general system stability improvements to enhance the user's experience." No other details were provided beyond that.
The update should automatically download when you connect your system to the internet. However, you can also manually install it by opening the System Settings menu from the home screen and selecting System Update.

See at AmazonFrieren: Beyond Journey's End is a critically acclaimed anime adaptation of Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abe's manga. The fantasy series follows the titular elf mage Frieren as she sets off on a long journey to find the resting place of souls so that she can reunite with her former comrade Himmel, who led the party to slay the Demon King decades ago. As an elf, Frieren is blessed--or cursed--with an absurdly long lifespan, and she experiences time differently from her human companions. The show earned high praise from audiences and critics for its nuanced characters, gorgeous animation, and detailed fantasy world-building.
While these Blu-ray releases will catch up on the anime's run so far, they're not the entire story, and the show's second season is scheduled to debut in January 2026. However, if you can't wait that long, you can read ahead with the original Frieren manga. Volumes 1-13 have been localized to English and are available now, while Volume 14 is available to preorder at Amazon.

In FBC: Firebreak, Corrupted Items can alter the way a Job unfolds in some chaotic ways, from reducing gravity to speeding up enemies or even forcing you into a game of "red light, green light." Corrupted Items can make your life as a Firebreaker more painful than it needs to be. Luckily, you can (and usually should) destroy them with a tried-and-true method. Here's how to neutralize Firebreak Corrupted Items.
Neutralize Corrupted Items in FBC: FirebreakIf you're playing a Job with Corrupted Items activated, you'll see a purple optional objective on the left side of the screen, under the main objective. This means somewhere--and it may be moving or stationary--you'll find a Corrupted Item. This item will create a gameplay modifier, most of which make your job harder to perform, so you'll want to prioritize removing that from the environment whenever you can.
Find the Black Rock NeutralizerRegular guns and even your specialty items won't do the trick, however. Instead, you'll need a specific gun: the Black Rock Neutralizer. If there's a Corrupted Item on the map, one of these special guns will be found at an ammo station in the zone in which the item spawned. You'll want to seek out the ammo stations and find the one equipped with the Neutralizer.

The Onimusha franchise was created in a very different era for gaming, decades before open-world titles and souls-like games were all the rage. Next year, Capcom will revisit the franchise with Onimusha: Way of the Sword, and the game's director, Satoru Nihei, wants fans to know that he and his team won't be embracing those modern trends in the new title.
"Onimusha: Way of The Sword isn't an open-world game, and it certainly isn't a punishing die-and-retry (souls-like) game either," Nihei told Automaton. "While there's no doubt seasoned action-game players will be able to enjoy it, our goal was to make a game which gamers who don't consider action games their forte will also have fun playing. In Way of The Sword, our main focus was to express the clashing of blades through the action."
Nihel went on to explain that Way of the Sword is incorporating new mechanics to make the sword fights feel more realistic. Deflecting allows players to deplete the stamina of bosses, which will eventually allow characters to trigger a Break Issen attack and destroy part of the boss. Nihel also confirmed that the soul-absorption ability will be retained in the new game.

Fortnite's June 18 update was a massive one, introducing two new game modes in Blitz Royale and Lego Fortnite Expeditions, not to mention a new Ballistic map. But the most exciting reveal in this patch may actually be that of the alternate style for the Superman skin included with the Chapter 6 Season 3 battle pass. While the standard style, which is based on the likeness of new Superman movie star David Corenswet, is pretty solid, the alternate "pen & ink" look is on a whole other level of awesome. Take a gander.
The spectacular new Fortnite Superman. As you can see, we've got a cel-shaded look with a rather unique version of the Superman logo with the S on a black background. It's an obscure style, for sure, but it's an authentic one that originates from the old Action Comics all the way back in 1940. This is about as classic as it gets. While we've gotten several cel-shaded Marvel skins over the past year, this new Superman is the first DC character to get that treatment in Fortnite.
The cel-shaded Superman will be available for battle pass owners to unlock starting July 11. While the David Corenswet style is obtainable now by buying 25 levels via the Battle Bundle, the newly revealed style will require you to complete quests next month if you want to obtain it.

A rumored God of War game taking place in the series' original setting of Greece was absent from Sony's latest State of Play showcase, leading to questions regarding its existence. But according to those who initially reported on the project, it's supposedly been moved to release in 2026.
While lamenting the state of his Fantasy Critic draft on the latest episode of The Last Nintendogs, Giant Bomb's Jeff Grubb shares that he's heard the latest God of War title is now due to come out in 2026. No additional information regarding the reasoning for the move or whether it was the release window all along was shared. You can watch the full episode of the show here.
When first reported, this latest entry in the God of War franchise was described as a side-story that would take the series back to Greece and that it would release this year. Just before Sony's State of Play, Insider Gaming's Tom Henderson suggested that the game was smaller in scope than previously thought, while adopting a metroidvania format in 2D, with Grubb seemingly confirming he had heard the same. This would make this new God of War the latest in a trend of established franchises dabbling with the format after Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown released to critical acclaim last year.

The original Final Fantasy Tactics was a sleeper hit as it was in the shadow of Final Fantasy 7 and the coming Final Fantasy 8. It helped redefine what a tactical RPG should look like and function, and will be getting a complete remaster later this year. However, the original game could have looked a lot different if not for art director Hiroshi Minagawa insisting it run at 60fps.
Having already put his stamp on Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together--the game many fans consider FFT's tonal predecessor--he wanted to improve the visuals even with the technical constraints of its era.
"At first, we wanted something closer to Tactics Ogre in terms of map size and character count. But no matter what we tried, the framerate dropped to 30fps," he said, while talking to the Japanese gaming site, Denfaminicogamer (translated via Automaton Media). He mentioned how he became obsessed with sticking to 60fps, especially after seeing Tobal No.1 playing incredibly smooth at 60fps.
