Silent Hill 2 Remake Dev Working With Konami Again On A Mystery Game
Bloober Team and Konami are staying in business together following the successful launch of the Silent Hill 2 remake in 2024. The Polish developer said today that it has signed a deal with Konami to make a "new game based on Konami's IP." There is no word on what that IP is, however.
Bloober Team CEO Piotr Babieno said in a statement that "the success of Silent Hill 2 speaks for itself." He added, "We can't reveal too many details at this time, but we are confident that fans will be just as excited about our collaboration as we are."
As for when Bloober Team's new game may be revealed, Babieno said it will be "when the time is right."

An update to the Call of Duty HQ page on Steam confirms that Activision's development teams do in fact use "generative AI tools" as a means to "help develop some in-game assets."
About a year ago, it came to light that Steam would begin to ask developers to disclose if and how AI is used in any given game. The Call of Duty HQ page now discloses this, but it does not get into any specifics regarding the use of generative AI tools in the game.
The Call of Duty HQ app encompasses multiple Call of Duty games, including Black Ops 6, Modern Warfare 3, Modern Warfare 2, and Warzone.
