UTS Games Studio invited to participate at the 2023 JIS Summit: Serious Games for Health

Earlier this month, the UTS Games Studio was given the opportunity to participate at the JIS 2023 Summit hosted by the Hospital Italiano the Buenos Aires

As part of this invitation, Dr Jaime Garcia ran an online session where he talked about the most relevant work in the space of Serious Games for Health

This talk included the methods used in the process of creating serious games with health purposes and featured the following projects:

Echo Rush wins the Best Student Game Award at SXSW

EchoRush, a second-year student game from the Bachelor of Games Development at UTS, takes the first place at the SXSW Best Student Game competition.

UTS Student Games at the POWERHOUSE LATE: GAMING

Last September, a group of UTS Game Development students had the opportunity to showcase their semester projects at the 2023 POWERHOSE LATE: GAMING event.

This event is aimed at bringing together the games community as well as celebrating the breadth of Australian game innovation through live performances, local game developer showcases, tabletop arenas and immersive game experiences.
