Activision recently announced that the T.E.D.D. operator in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Vault Edition bundle would receive a new makeover, and now the publisher has revealed two more operators in the pack have also received visual adjustments. Additionally, a bonus T.E.D.D. skin has been added to the Vault Edition.
Black Ops 7's Vault Edition is $100, and it includes early access to the upcoming multiplayer beta, a four-pack of operators, as well as other cosmetic content. The four operators in the pack include T.E.D.D., Karma, Harper, and Reaper EWR-3.
The T.E.D.D. operator now looks less human and more like the robot originally featured in Black Ops 2's Zombies mode. The flesh has melted off his face to show more of his robotic features. The bonus T.E.D.D. skin added to the Vault Edition bundle will look more like the original Black Ops 7 design that was announced, but Activision says it does have some minor changes.

Fortnite is celebrating the release of its new Marvel-themed Blitz Royale island by offering a new free skin that everyone can earn this weekend. According to in-game messaging, any players who earn a win this weekend in the Six Stack (Pure Chaos) variety of the recently added Blitz Royale mode will be granted the new Bug Punk Sunny skin on Monday. Yes, this is the first-ever new version of Sunny, the popular alien fangirl character from the Chapter 2 Season 7 battle pass.
You can earn the Bug Punk Sunny skin in Fortnite Blitz Royale this weekend. For those who aren't up to date on Fortnite's many different battle royale modes, Blitz Royale is a small-scale mode with a max of 32 players and matches that last five minutes or less that was added this summer as an appeal to mobile gamers after Fortnite returned to iOS in the USA. But Blitz Royale is not exclusive to mobile devices--you can play the mode on any platform Fortnite works on. And in Six Stack (Pure Chaos) mode, there are teams of six players, and no bots or skill-based matchmaking, and so with the quick nature of these games this version of the mode tends to get pretty wild.
It's already a pretty momentous occasion for Blitz Royale, which replaced its entire map on Friday with a new island that's full of stuff owned by Tony Stark/Iron Man--in fact, these locations come from Chapter 2 Season 4, which was the first full-on Marvel season back in the fall of 2020. But the makeover isn't just an aesthetic one, because the loot pool is also now full of Marvel items, including the frequently maligned War Machine items that were everyone's bane during Chapter 5 Season 4.

The September Nintendo Direct today had a lot of news about upcoming Switch 2 games, but that wasn't all. During the Super Mario Bros. Wonder segment where a Switch 2 edition was announced, Nintendo also revealed something totally unexpected: a talking flower product you can buy.
Based on the talking flowers from Super Mario Bros. Wonder, the real, physical product can speak on their own and say things like, "We kinda look alike, huh?" In the Direct, we saw Nintendo's Yoshiaki Koizumi speak to the flower. However, the flower is not interactive like, say, an Amazon Alexa is. It only speaks. "These talking flowers can make everyday life a little more fun," Koizumi said.
Nintendo is getting into the floral business. The talking flowers go on sale in Spring 2026. Pricing has not been announced, however. Super Mario Bros. Wonder and the Meetup in Bellabel Park DLC will launch in Spring 2026 for Switch 2.

One of the most surprising reveals during today's Nintendo Direct is that Pokemon has a new game, Pokemon Pokopia, coming next year, and it's a big departure for the franchise. From the reveal trailer, Pokopia looks like a cross between Minecraft, Animal Crossing, and Dragon Quest Builders set in the Pokemon universe.
There are no battles to fight in this cozy game, so this might be a utopia for any battle-weary Pokemon. Players assume control of a Ditto--a Pokemon that can mimic other creatures--who has taken on the form of a human. The Ditto can craft materials and buildings in addition to borrowing powers from various Pokemon to grow crops and take care of the creatures under their care.
Pokemon Pokopia will be released on Switch 2 in 2026, but it doesn't have an exact release date yet.

Capcom's Resident Evil 2 and 3 remakes were also well-received, and the Resident Evil 4 remake was one of the best video games of 2023.
The next game in the series, Resident Evil: Requiem, launches on February 27, 2026, for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch 2. The game will introduce a new protagonist--Grace Ashcroft--and will see players return to Raccoon City, a location that has been left unexplored following its destruction in Resident Evil 2 and 3.

Dragon Quest VII: Reimagined will be released February 5, 2026, and preorders begin today on the Nintendo eShop.
