WWE 2K25 Season Pass Will Add '80s Legends, Ex-AEW Stars, And NBA Players
WWE 2K25 is already going to launch with a character roster that's 300 names deep with superstars from the past and present. But in the newly revealed WWE 2K25 season pass, that lineup is going to get even better.
NXT wrestlers Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, as well as the Motor City Machine Guns, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, will be the first new arrivals in the New Wave Pack. Penta, the recently arrived luchador from AEW, will be added in a later pack, and he's not the only former All Elite Wrestling veteran on the way. Billy Gunn will be making his WWE return alongside his New Age Outlaws teammate, Road Dogg, and so is "the world's strongest man," Mark Henry.
The final wave of DLC characters will be a blast from the past, the 1980s, to be specific. For the first time in a WWE video game, Jesse "The Body" Ventura will be available alongside Paul "Mr. Wonderful" Orndorff, Junk Yard Dog, Tito Santana, and Sid Justice... whom long-time wrestling fans may remember as both Sid Vicious and Sycho Sid.

Amazon has a great deal on the Viture Pro XR/AR Glasses that drops the price to $399, which matches the lowest price yet for the impressive extended reality glasses. If you're unfamiliar with XR technology, Viture Pro Glasses are essentially wearable 1080p projectors. You can connect the glasses to your PC, smartphone, tablet, or game consoles to enjoy a 135-inch personal display only you can see.
Note: Amazon has two separate listings for the Viture Pro XR Glasses. One of the listings is an Amazon Lightning Deal for $399, while the other is marked at $459 with a $60-off coupon box. Regardless of which one you order from, you'll get the same pair of glasses, so make sure to check the other listing if the first listing you click is sold out.
Viture Pro XR/AR Glasses $399 (was $459)The Pro XR Glasses are Viture's flagship model. We were quite impressed with their clarity and how easy they were to use when we reviewed them at launch last summer. Viture packed impressive tech in glasses that aren't much bulkier than normal eyewear. The simulated 135-inch display has a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 4,000 nits of brightness. The lenses do a great job of blocking out glare, allowing you to use them comfortably in different environments. The built-in speakers are serviceable, though like with most electronics, headphones or earbuds will offer a better audio experience.
The Viture Pro XR Glasses offer a plug-and-play experience on portable devices such as Steam Deck, iPhones, and Android phones. We also really enjoyed our using the glasses with a PC, though your home setup for desktop computers and home consoles such as PS5 and Xbox Series X|S might make them to tricky to use without shifting stuff around.
One accessory that helps with this process is the Viture Pro Mobile Dock. While the glasses can plug directly into most devices, they will only work on Nintendo Switch when connected to official dock. This Mobile Dock is a hybrid USB-C hub and battery pack, so it's useful for all devices, but especially if you want to use additional accessories or game on the go. If you're buying the Mobile Dock for Nintendo Switch, you'll also want to pick up the Mobile Dock Mount, which connects the dock to the back of the handheld.
The Mobile Dock is on sale for $116 (was $129) with promo code VITURE10. The Mobile Dock is part of a larger Viture sale on Amazon that also includes the recently released Viture One Neckband speaker and the Viture x 8BitDo Ultimate C Wireless Controller, which has a translucent shell.

Between playing Bowser in The Super Mario Bros. Movie and voicing Claptrap in Borderlands, Jack Black just keeps racking up video game movie roles. Next month, Black will add another one to his resume when he plays Steve in A Minecraft Movie. Now, a Minecraft modder has added Black's voice to the game that spawned the film.
A modder going by SnailMan posted a clip of the mod they created, which essentially places Black's incarnation of Steve into the world of Minecraft. The modder also jokingly wrote that creating this mod was "[three] hours of my life that I'll never get back."
Now you can be Steve from the hit movie Minecraft in the game Minecraft based on the movie Minecraft
3 hours of my life that I'll never get back went into making this https://t.co/SgYeZonket pic.twitter.com/TEw6ttdbsi
Considering that the movie isn't out yet, SnailMan could only rely on the clips of Black from the trailers and TV spots for A Minecraft Movie. But that was enough for at least a few more lines to be entered into the game.

You're probably wondering why Focus Mode in Monster Hunter Wilds is a bit finicky. As you take on numerous gargantuan beasts, this mechanic is one that enables you to track targets and land devastating blows. However, making use of it is a bit cumbersome... at least until you make a small tweak to the controls. Our guide tells you just what you need to do to alleviate combat-induced migraines in your playthrough.
How to make combat easier with the Focus Mode toggle in Monster Hunter WildsFocus Mode is a game mechanic that's supposed to make combat easier. First, it requires you to hold the button prompt--i.e. L2/LT on a gamepad, Left Alt on a keyboard, or the Mouse 4 button on a mouse. This lets you aim and track a target as it moves around the area.
More importantly, it makes wounds easier to discern. When you repeatedly hit a monster's body parts, these wounds appear as bright red gashes while Focus Mode is active. Then, when you press the button prompt for a Focus Strike, your character will perform a devastating blow.

The Academy Award for Best Animated Feature is almost always awarded to a well-known blockbuster--often produced by Disney or Pixar--but this year an indie movie took home the top prize: Flow. If you are one of the many Oscar viewers who hasn't watched Flow, the animated adventure is getting a 4K Blu-ray release from The Criterion Collection later this year. A release date hasn't been set, but preorders are live at Amazon for a nice discount. The 4K Blu-ray version is actually cheaper than the standard Blu-ray right now, so you may want to secure your preorder while Amazon is offering this $15 discount.
Directed by Gints Zilbalodis and made with open-source software at a budget of roughly $4 million, Flow brought in over $20 million at the box office. Flow earned glowing praise from both critics and viewers, and it’s currently sitting with “Universal Acclaim” on Metacritic. What's even more impressive, though, is that Flow managed to topple several commercial hits from some of the biggest animated studios, including Dreamworks' The Wild Robot and Pixar's Inside Out 2, which is one of the top 10 highest-grossing movies ever at $1.7 billion.
Continue Reading at GameSpotThe Outlast Trials Dev Hints That PvP Features May Be On The Way
For a team like Red Barrels, finding success in making just one series for over a decade isn't easy. It seems especially difficult when you consider the series the team makes; Outlast is a gruesome, unflinching, taboo-shattering horror series, with gore, violence, and even nudity so beyond most other games that I'm sometimes amazed games in the series don't get Adult ratings.
I'll also add it's among my favorite horror series, though I didn't anticipate that would remain the case when The Outlast Trial was revealed years ago. As a four-player co-op take on the series' typical single-player horror stories, I felt like Outlast might lose some of its best features--the lonesome helplessness and intense situations where no one can save you. Last year, I wrote my Outlast Trials review, which helped me come to find I had misjudged the game previously. Today, it's become a regular in my rotation, and it's especially interesting to me, given it's essentially a live-service game from a studio new to that highly competitive scene.
With all of this context in mind, I was eager to speak to Red Barrels game director, Alex Charbonneau, so I could ask him his thoughts on these and other aspects of the game in advance of today's first anniversary since the game launched into its 1.0 state. Charbonneau spoke to the game's jaw-dropping depictions of violence and the problems that can sometimes present for its community. He also touched on how the community has helped shape the game, which originally had far less planned than what we've already seen come to the game just in its first year. Perhaps most intriguing is what he said about PvP coming to the game, which is currently PvE co-op only. Find all these details and more in GameSpot's interview below.

Despite previously hinting at a potential The Last of Us: Part III, game series creative director and co-writer Neil Druckmann is telling fans "not to bet" on another chapter in the franchise.
Speaking with Variety ahead of the second season of HBO's The Last of Us show, Druckmann gave a not exactly reassuring update to fans eagerly awaiting news about a third game in the series.
"I guess the only thing I would say is don't bet on there being more of 'Last of Us,'" Druckmann said when asked about a potential third entry. "This could be it."

Ballistic Moon, the studio behind the PC and PS5 remake of Until Dawn released last year, is now "effectively closed" after failing to find a publisher for its next game.
A new report from Insider Gaming reveals that only the studio founders and a handful of others potentially remain employed there at this point. The studio reportedly couldn't find funding for its next game, and Sony didn't give the studio any support for future work on the Until Dawn franchise. Ballistic Moon has yet to comment on this situation.
Ballistic Moon is a U.K. developer founded in 2020 by industry veterans from studios like EA and Supermassive Games. So far, Ballistic Moon's only game is 2024's remake of Until Dawn, which brought the beloved PS4 choose-your-own-adventure horror adventure game to Unreal Engine 5. It featured a recomposed musical score, changed the gameplay camera to a third-person perspective rather than a fixed-camera one, and added a post-credit scene teasing a sequel. It received a lukewarm reception compared to the original.

Before Final Fantasy VII took RPGs as a whole into the mainstream, Suikoden made its mark as one of the first quality role-playing titles released outside of Japan on PlayStation. The game's main conceit was based loosely on the Chinese literary classic The Water Margin: A young outcast and his friends gather up companions to form the 108 Stars of Destiny, building a magnificent rebel outpost and eventually toppling a wicked empire. Suikoden's success would inspire multiple sequels, including immediate follow-up Suikoden II, regarded by many as a shining gem in the PS1's RPG library.
With fame and acclaim, however, comes a price tag: Original copies of Suikoden II run in the hundreds of dollars, and that's even with several well-known, game-breaking bugs that were inadvertently introduced in the English version. Here's where Konami seemingly swoops in to the rescue, offering both Suikoden I and II together for a low price and promising beautiful new HD graphics and bonus features. This was announced back in 2022, and now, two and a half years later due to delays, we finally have Suikoden I&II HD Remaster--and I'm left wondering just how all that time this remaster spent cooking in the oven was spent.
First, let's talk a bit about the games themselves. I first played both of these titles back on the PS1 many years ago. The original Suikoden was the game I was most excited to revisit, as it had been well over two decades since I'd last played it, and I'd forgotten so much about it. I was pleased to rediscover a pleasant, breezy RPG with a fast-paced story, smooth turn-based combat, and a charming sense of humor. It's quite short, and with the lack of load times and addition of battle speed-up options, you can easily finish it in around 15-20 hours doing all of the optional content.
