Agent 47 is back in action in Hitman 3, which released today on consoles and PC. Hitman 3 is the final entry in the World of Assassination trilogy developed by IO Interactive. Since Hitman 3 has arrived right after the holiday season, you may be wondering how to save some cash on the excellent stealth game. Luckily, Walmart is currently selling physical copies of Hitman 3 for $10 off.Hitman 3 $50 (was $60)
This deal only applies to PS5, PS4, and Xbox versions of the game. PC digital codes and the Nintendo Switch cloud version are only available for the full $60 retail price at the moment. We'd suggest scooping up this deal at Walmart as soon as possible, as Hitman 3 appears to be in somewhat shorts supply. Amazon, which also had the discount, is currently sold out of Hitman 3 for all platforms. Unfortunately, Walmart estimates that orders won't be delivered until January 27. Target also has Hitman 3 for PS4 (free upgrade to PS5) and Xbox for $50 right now.See PS5 version at Walmart See PS4 version at Walmart See Xbox version at Walmart
If you're an XP Program member at Green Man Gaming, you can get Hitman 3 for PC for nearly five dollars off. The catch is that you need to have previously spent money at Green Man Gaming to be eligible for this discount.Continue Reading at GameSpot

Riot's competitive shooter Valorant is always evolving, and the game has already received a new patch just days after its major 2.0 update. As its number implies, Patch 2.01 isn't nearly as large or all-encompassing as the previous update, but it still contains a number of significant changes to the game, particularly to the map Split and the character Jett.
As the patch notes reveal, Valorant's designers feel that the game currently allows offense-focused "duelists" like Jett to serve as substitutes for the more utility-oriented "controller" characters like Brimstone and the perennially underpowered Viper. As such, Jett's smokes now last for less than half of their previous seven-second duration.
The patch also applies several major changes to the map Split, increasing the width of doorways to give attackers more room to navigate, as well as changing some angles to make it more difficult for defenders to post up in hard-to-attack areas. These changes are intended to make the map more favorable to attackers. The patch also introduces several other small changes, such as the ability to hide custom games from your match history.Continue Reading at GameSpot
Publisher Team17, alongside co-developers DevM Games and SMG Studio, have announced that the couch cooperative moving simulator Moving Out will get a bevy of new content soon.
Titled Moving In, the update adds a new game mode that tasks players with moving items from a packed van into an empty house. In other words, players will be performing the opposite of the game's name. There are 12 levels in total for players to take on, all previously used in Moving Out's standard mode. And to make the unpacking a little easier, Moving In introduces a new "auto-snap" toggle option to Assist Mode to help players place items more securely.
The Moving In update also brings about new character customization options, including two new dances and additional accessories like hats and uniforms. There's no definitive release date for the Moving In update yet, but the developers said it will launch on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One "soon." For now, check out the announcement trailer below.Continue Reading at GameSpot

Fans of the Hitman franchise were ready to shave their heads and don the suit of their favorite genetically-engineered assassin for the release of Hitman 3 today, but they've run into a nasty snag. The site that developer IO Interactive set up to allow players to carry over their progress from the previous games in the World of Assassination trilogy isn't working, and that's leading some fans to declare their frustration on social media.
We're hard at work on getting IOI Account back online to enable progression carryover.
We'll tell you when it's fully operational again. Please press F5 on Twitter instead of our site. We want it back up and running just as much as you do. Thanks! pic.twitter.com/4St0a2hYtQ
While it might seem like a matter of simple patience, it's actually a lot more unfortunate than it sounds. Since the site overwrites your Hitman 3 save as part of the transfer process, players are essentially having to choose between forgoing transferring their progress from previous games or sacrificing any they make in Hitman 3 when the carry over site begins working again. That means some fans might make the decision to treat launch day as a trial run for the game, since they know that any progress they make will soon be nuked.
Hitman 3's launch was previously overshadowed by a minor controversy when IO Interactive announced that PC players wouldn't be able to play the levels from Hitman 1 and 2 within Hitman 3 without paying an additional fee. Console players were exempt from this fee. However, IO quickly backtracked, saying that PC players will be able to access the levels for free, although they're still working on the specifics.Continue Reading at GameSpot

Activision Blizzard, like many other gaming publishers, is riding high right now thanks in part to the COVID-19 pandemic that's keeping people at home playing more games and spending more on them. As The Wall Street Journal noticed, the company's share price recently exceeded more than $95 per share, which is the highest value for the firm since 1984.
MKM Partners, a research firm, recently raised its revenue and earnings-per-share guidance for Activision Blizzard. The firm also raised its price target up to $105 per share.
One of Activision Blizzard's biggest success stories in 2020 was the free-to-play battle royale game Call of Duty: Warzone, which has generated many millions of dollars from microtransactions. The newest Call of Duty game, Black Ops Cold War, also had a strong year in 2020, as the game was the overall top-selling title of the year in the US.Continue Reading at GameSpot
While the next gen Assassin's Creed: Valhalla recently launched on multiple platforms, fans of the series may be thirsty for some new content while waiting for another new game. Ubisoft is producing some more Assassin's Creed stories, but in manga form, as the production company has partnered with Viz Media to create Assassin's Creed: Blade of the Shao Jun.

The fate of the mysterious box is now in the hands of both the past and present!"Continue Reading at GameSpot

Fortnite has updated battle royale to v15.21, and this update may seem small in terms of the total number of changes it brings, but they are still significant. They include the introduction of a certain boss character who may give you and your friends a bit of a scare. There isn't a traditionally-organized set of patch notes, but we've laid out all the changes the update brought below.
The biggest addition with v15.21 is the "new boss character," which is the Predator itself. You can find the boss so you can kill the Predator and get its skin. You can also get a cloaking device mythic item, which can temporarily make you nearly invisible. This will give you a huge advantage in hectic firefights. You can check out a full video of the fight below from YouTuber creator HarryNinetyFour.
The update also comes with new Jungle Hunter quests. These are related to the Predator, as well, and you'll need to complete them in order to unlock additional cosmetic items for the Predator theme. IO Guards have also been removed from The Arena, which should make things a little less frustrating if you're into that mode.Continue Reading at GameSpot

This all kicked off after it was discovered in a comment on Instagram that Fall Guys would be coming to Xbox Game Pass. The person running the Xbox Game Pass account said "it's coming" when someone called for the game to release into the subscription catalog.
However, publisher Devolver Digital quickly followed up to say, "That's incorrect." There's no shortage of methods with which to dispose of your targets here. From skydiving with shredded parachutes to a round of golf that ends with an explosive swing of the club, here's how you can cross two more names off of your hitlist.Continue Reading at GameSpot
Some big things are about to happen in Chongqing for the fourth mission in Hitman 3. The pouring rain, bright neon lights, and high-tech human experimentation going on really give this one a heavy cyberpunk vibe. You have two targets: Imogen Royce and Hush. Both can be assassinated in fascinating ways where you turn their impressive tech against them, which you can do through the Mission Stories.
As per usual, one Mission Story lets you take care of both your objectives in one fell swoop, while the other two are conceptually satisfying. Mission Stories will lead you to opportunities, but often leave you to figure the rest out; we'll guide you through both if you're having trouble with that. For more on the game, be sure to check out our Hitman 3 guide hub for walkthroughs on every mission and tips on how to complete special assassination challenges.
This Mission Story is to hit the target named Hush, who runs human experiments and uses homeless people to do so. The first step is to eavesdrop on a group of homeless people marked on your UI. Grab the crowbar near them, as this will come in handy later. One of them will begin walking off on his own, and you should follow him to find an opportunity to knock him out and steal his outfit. People will show up sporadically along the path so be careful. He also drops a flyer for the Future Progress Initiative, which gives you a location hint for where Hush is posted up.Continue Reading at GameSpot
Hitman 3's penultimate mission, The Farewell, takes place at a beautiful winery in Mendoza, Argentina. But there are a few tricks you can use to get away unscathed, and there's even a secret Mission Story that's not given to you in the planning phase.
This mission has some really good goofs and serious moments that embody the Hitman 3 experience, and we run you through how to find them in order to complete it. The hidden Mission Story also provides a more satisfying cinematic conclusion to the level that's worth working toward.
